Anastasios Kallitsantsis
Anastasios Kallitsantsis was born in 1953 in Thessaloniki and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He is a major shareholder (one of the founders) and Chairman of ELLAKTOR S.A. (formerly ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI S.A.) since 2006 and active member of the construction sector in Greece since 1976. He served as CEO of ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI S.A. during the period of 1998-2005 and as its General Manager during the period of 1979-2002.
Also, he is the Chairman and CEO of EL.TECH. ANEMOS S.A., the Vice Chairman of ELPEDISON POWER S.A. and Managing Director of REDS S.A. (companies of the ELLAKTOR Group which are operating in the sectors of wind farms, thermoelectric plants and real estate, respectively).
He is Member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) since 2005. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Secretary General of SEV, while he was appointed Vice Chairman of SEV in 2010. He is currently Member of the Board of Directors of the SEV Business Council for Sustainable Development since its establishment (2008), member of SEV’s Energy Committee and co-Chairman of the Spatial Planning Committee.
Finally, he is the Chairman of the Hellenic Association of Independent Power Producers (HAIPP).
