Despina Argyriou is a graduate of the Athens University of Economic and Business in the fields of economics and international relations.  She also attended, during her senior year, the Katolica Lisbon School of Economic and Business through the Erasmus European student transfer program.

Apart from her academic qualifications, Ms Argyriou has also attended numerous wine stewardship (sommelier) courses in the greater Athens area.

Currently, she is a pivotal part of the family business Argyriou winery, being responsible for the marketing and sales department, acting as the spokesperson promoting the winery and the portfolio of wine brands produced.
