Ioanna Tsivacou
Dr Ioanna Tsivacou is Emeritus Professor of the Panteion University of Athens.
Initially, she worked as researcher, manager and consultant of multinational companies and Greek public agencies. In the decade of 80’s, she entered the academic community.
For many years she taught theory of organization and sociology of organization, firstly, at the University of the Aegean, and later at Panteion University, Department of Communication, Media and Culture. During all these years, her teaching focused mainly on issues of “Discursive Systems Methodologies”, “Management Learning and Development”, “Organizational Design, “Organizational culture and change”, etc.
Additionally, she taught as visiting professor at American Universities (such as the University of Colorado Denver, University of Minnesota, George Mason University), as well as at British Universities (such as the University of Hull). She participated in the Advisory Committee of international journals, in many seminars and international conferences as key-note speaker, and as researcher in many research projects financed by European Union.
She has published many scientific papers in international journals and collective volumes as well as in Greek ones, and many books in Greek. Her last book is: The Leader as Incarnation of the Institution, Athens: I. SIDERIS, 2015.
