Marios Georgiadis was born in Athens, in 1976. After completing his military service, he studied Marketing emphasizing in the scientific field of Communication. After graduating from American College of Greece, he developed a long-aged productive activity in the private business sector of Greece. For more than 20 years he obtained working experience as a Director of Production at Extra Channel and from 2004 to 2015 at a Multinational Tobacco company (top 4 worldwide) in various important positions with the latest as a Procurement Manager (responsible for the Cluster of South Eastern Europe – Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Cyprus & Malta).
In September 2015 Marios Georgiadis was elected MP representing voters from the 1st District of Athens. He is currently Secretary (Whip) of the Union of Centrists Parliamentary Group, participating in important committees. At the same time, he leads the political activity of the party regarding the fields of Sports, Local Government, Economy and Development, Tourism, Foreign Affairs and Youth Entrepreneurship.
After one year of Parliamentary presence in Greece, he was furthermore unanimously elected Vice President of the European Democratic Party (EDP), constantly exchanging views and ideas with all Democratic Parties of Europe. He aims at spreading and establishing the Greek and European ideals among all the democratic citizens.
Marios Georgiadis is a father of an 8 years old daughter and a 5 years old son.
