Maurice van der Velden is senior advisor at ICF, which supports Radar Advies in running the Radicalisation Awareness Network Centre of Excellence on behalf of the European Commission. Maurice is a project manager who was worked on many assignments for services of the European institutions, including impact assessments and evaluations for DG HOME, DG JUST DG MOVE and DG ECHO, across areas such as radicalisation, migration and asylum policy, border control, aviation security, and civil protection. For RAN CoE he is leading the Working Group for Health & Social Care and is involved in numerous study visits, reports and the roadmap and events on returnees (foreign fighters).
