Panagiotis Pikrammenos served as Caretaker Prime Minister of Greece between 16.5.2012 – 20.6.2012. He has served as a member of the Supreme Special Court and Director-General of the National School of Magistrates. He was promoted as a Vice-President of the Council of State, and was nominated as President of the Council of State in July 2009.

He served as an advisor to the Prime Minister on public law matters and as a member of the Central Lawpreparing Committee. He was nominated Doctor Honoris Causa by the Law School of Demokritus University of Thrace. He holds the Grand Cross of the Order of Honor.
