Journalist with long years of service in newspapers and -the last 30 years- in Radio and Television. He has founded and managed private radio and television stations (Antenna, Cool FM, Channel SevenX) and has served as General Manager and  Deputy Managing Director of the Public Broadcaster.

He has served as President and CEO  of the “Institute of Audiovisual Media”(2006-2011) and as acting President of the European Audiovisual Observatory (2010).

He was appointed  Interim Minister of State for Mass Media during the pre-electoral periods in 2007 and 2015.

He has written an “Introduction the poetry of Jaques Prevert” and has translated plays by Arthur Adamov (“Ping Pong”) and Robert Bolt (“A Man for All Seasons”) that were staged in the National Theatre of Greece.

Currently he is Vice Chairman of the National Council for Radio and Television.
