EUROPEAN CULTURAL CENTRE OF DELPHI

The European Cultural Centre of Delphi (E.C.C.D.) is a non-profit institution, established in 1977 and its aim is to serve the common cultural interests and the inner relations between modern European culture and ancient Greece.

It functions under the supervision of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the auspices of the Council of Europe. 

The ECCD’s programme includes scientific conferences, educational programmes and seminars, fine arts exhibitions as well as music events and theatre festivals

Facilities

Konstantinos Karamanlis Hall

Konstantinos Karamanlis Hall  is the main conference hall. It has a capacity of 300 persons, it is equipped with state of the art technical equipment with a simultaneous translation system of. E.U. specifications.

Dionysus Hall

Dionysus Hall has a capacity of 80 persons, it is unique for round table discussions equipped with 38 seats for speakers and 42 seats for participants. It is equipped with state of the art technical equipment and simultaneous translation system.

Library Room

The Library with books of general knowledge and emphasis on humanitarian and classical studies includes around 5,000 books and magazines. The room can also host conferences for 25-30 people.

Amalia Hotel Delphi

Amalia Hotel Delphi has an exquisite location at the foot of mount Parnassus.  The room balconies and the public areas of the hotel offer panoramic view to the green valley, all the way to the sea, the town of Itea and the beautiful town of Galaxidi.

Amalia Hotel’s meeting and banquet facilities include two meeting rooms, “Apollon” and "Ermis", ideal for meetings and social events.

"Apollon" and "Ermis" Meeting Rooms

The “Apollon” meeting room can accommodate up to 200 persons and offers an open air terrace with great view to the valley and the sea. It is fully air-conditioned with audio visual equipment and internet access. “Ermis” is a multiple-use room, ideal for conferences and other events.
