Adrien Gizon, Head of Project Management ADIE International
Adrien joins Adie (Association for the Right to Economic Initiative); pioneer and leader microfinance organization in Western Europe, as a loan officer in late 2011. In 2013 he becomes international consultant for Adie and joins the Board of Directors of Action Finance Initiative (AFI), the first microfinance institution in Greece.
As a consultant, Adrien provides technical assistance on strategic and operational issues to microfinance institutions all over Europe and the mediterranean bassin including in Belgium, Tunisia, Luxembourg, Greece and Turkey. Adrien is a member of the pool of experts of the European Microfinance Network (EMN) and the Social Performance Task Force (U.N) in microfinance and refugees' financial inclusion.
In close coordination with the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) he previously worked for 3 years as an emergency relief and disaster preparedness project manager in Bolivia for the Cooperazione Internationale - COOPI (2006-2008).
As COOPI Country Director in Bolivia (2008-2010) and Ethiopia (2010-2011) he conducted the strategy plan of actions and supervised numerous emergency projects and development programs.
He holds a Master degree in cooperation and Development from Pavia University (IT) and a Master degree in Political Sciences from the Institute of Political Studies in Toulouse (FRA).
