Chryssos Kavounides
Chryssos is a Principal in the Athens office of The Boston Consulting Group. He supports BCG clients in Greece, Italy and Turkey across different industries but focuses most of his time on Financial Institutions cases. Recent case work has focused on major transformation work in the Retail Banking space, driving efficiency improvements in the front line as well as support and control functions, and strategy definition. He is a core member of the Financial Institutions Practice Area in BCG. Chryssos also has developed a strong interest in People and Organization topics and is a core member of that functional practice.
Prior to BCG, Chryssos has a varied background having practiced consulting as a Project Management expert for Blue Chip companies in IT, Telecoms and Financial Services through his own consultancy in the UK.
Chryssos has studied Mechanical Engineering and started his career with Airbus UK in a number of roles, including A400M Wing Planning and Risk Manager. Chryssos holds a PhD in Fluid Mechanics and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London and is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP).
