Panagiotis Vlachos
Panagiotis Vlachos is a lawyer and a public entrepreneur focusing on open government and civic tech. He is the cofounder of “Vouliwatch” a non profit initiative that promotes accountability and transparency in politics and the current Head of Programs of the Institute of Local Governance and Policy Innovation at the European Public Law Organization. A former Spokesperson of the Ministry of Citizens’ Protection and the Ministry of Development, Competitiveness & Shipping, he has also worked as an adviser to political parties, corporations, municipalities, the Hellenic Parliament, the European Parliament and the Hellenic Federation of Industries and Enterprises. In 2012 he founded the political movement “Forward Greece” to promote intergenerational equity and inclusive growth. In 2015 he was a candidate MP with “To Potami” party. Panagiotis holds a BA in Law (National University of Athens), an MSc in European Governance (LSE) and a Masters in Public Administration (Harvard Kennedy School of Government).
